Ike Update 2/23/18" is a newscast for Dwight D. Eisenhower High School. This newscast features stories about the top accomplishments by the speech team, dance team, wrestlers and swim team. In addition, you can catch up on all the other news going on at school.

• 3/8 1:52 pm - Quick and concise. Lets us know what is going on at school. You should point the mics more at the talent instead of in the air. Are the microphones picking up the audio, or the cameras? The two shots sound distant with background noise while the individual shots are a lot cleaner. Looks like you do not have a teleprompter. Good way to cover up the anchors with graphics. Good use of b-roll. Should have the audio of the b-roll up a little louder.
• 3/8 10:14 am - Some nice video work throughout. A couple areas you can improve quickly is in regard to sound and anchor delivery. In a number of places, sound was only in one channel (left). Make sure to fill both tracks. Are the two mics on the desk the actual mics recording audio of the anchors? If so, move them closer. If not, I would suggest removing them from the desk. Another way to improve quickly is to try to work with a teleprompter. There are a number of free teleprompter apps for smart phones that would allow you to work on picking your head up and work on delivery to the audience. The anchors have a nice energy when they are projecting to the audience (ie, the closing). Some good B-roll. Consider having corresponding audio in the low in the background. This will provide some energy with the footage.
