  • 3/11 8:06 pm - lots of shots of cars but seem to be redundant shots. The big void is that there is no information until the very end of what we are seeing. So I think your commercial would benefit by adding information throuhgout the commercial to pace it and then come to a logicla conclusion. Focus needs to be improved in many shots and watch your shadow/reflection in some of the shots....music choice could be better
  • 3/9 12:12 pm - This non narrative still doesn't tell me much about the establishment besides they have nice cars. Are they for purchase? Renting? Sound is one song without any other mix. COuld have used a Voice Over. Overall camerawork is below average. Opening shot’s pan is not smooth and the second shot viewers can clearly see the cameraman. All camera slides need work to be smooth and move at a consistent pace. Composition of shots was not very cinematic. Had a “home movie” feel to it. Lighting looks like it was only house lighting. Editing seemed to be done with the music and not the product in mind. With so many beautiful cars, I’d like to see shots that match the beauty.
  • 3/5 1:30 pm - Strengths: -Good job securing the location and getting access to the motor shop -Good variety of footage. We get to a see a lot of their products, which for a commercial is great! Room for Improvement: -I would recommend using a use a tripod or some sort of stabilization device like a shoulder mount to make sure that camera movement is not shaky -In terms of panning I would suggest putting your camera on a tripod so that you can get nice smooth pans -Your commercial is lacking a story or a concept -music does not seem to match the visuals. We see a lot of nice luxurious and your music choice does not reflect the same feeling we get from looking at the cars -The ending graphic we see black bars on the side which makes it look like it was in SD instead of HD.
