3/13 11:27 am - Mesmerizing mixture of color in your shots, but this is not enough to hold your viewer. These shots should have been used as little snippets to transition between scenes in a more developed music video concept. Ultimately, this was too slow, The viewer needs more. There is no story, not enough visual variety to keep the viewer engaged. The idea begins and ends in the exact same place. You want to take your viewer on a journey of some sort.
3/7 2:12 pm - The video was cool to watch. But not for 4 minutes. The colors were beautiful, and it was neat to see how they spread out. But it got very repititious seeing the same thing over and over. There really was no storyline to the video- just cool colors. A big problem was the focus of the camera. Too many times, the color part of the video was out of focus, and the focus was on the cloth underneath the cup, making the colors blurry. We could see the constant focusing from the cup to the water, with little slight zoom movements that got distracting. Was hoping there would be more to this video- perhaps a singer, or a story to go with the colors. Look to add more for a true music video.
