  • 3/13 11:42 am - Story could use a bit more shot variety; agree with the other comments about inconsistencies in background audio throughout the piece.
  • 3/13 11:41 am - Would have been great to have video of some of the events referenced rather than just still images; sometimes the subtitles were against a busy background, so it might work better just to display them in a black band across the bottom for easier reading.
  • 3/13 11:41 am - Great story idea about an interesting program that might not have much visibility.
  • 3/12 12:22 pm - Very unique. What a cool promo!
  • 3/12 12:03 pm - I like the uniqueness of this promo. I think it does a great job to give some visibility to the culture that is being a deaf student. I think the absence of audio (music) and just the natural sound elements fit well and cause the audience to really experience the content, not just see it. There is some break in audio with the room noise and the quietness behind the stills. Might be best to go one way or another (totally silent or keep some ambient room noise underneath everything).
  • 2/28 11:47 am - Great idea for a segment. One suggestion would be to mic the interviewee to get more of the sounds of the hand gesture and less of the humming audio from heating vents. Also re-record the interviews with the background noise of students talking unless you feel it adds to the segment. The first half does not have any talking audio.
