  • 3/11 6:48 pm - Great concept of dream/fantaThe first part of the commercial seemed to suffer from too many shots establishing boredom. Color changes were very cool especially as they sped up..I do think that there could have been more positive emotion shown in the reaction of the girl while experiencing skittles
  • 3/7 2:57 pm - Nice concept but a little unclear about some things. Does holding the bag give her these thoughts? She never actually eats one, so wondering why she goes through all of this without having a taste. Audio of the girl who comes up to her sounds very un-natural, as if it was a voice over plugged in during post. Need to make that sound more natural. The shots of the girl being bored are very nice- crisp and clear, with a nice rack focus in the library. Like the different colored backgrounds for the girl, and her having fun while they changed. Cool edit on the first change, when she holds the Skittle bag up to the camera and it changes shot. Maybe would have been cool if the music would have started up strong once the second girl got the bag in her hand too, like it happens to everyone. The fast edits are what makes your commercial look good- nice job there.
  • 3/5 1:36 pm - Strengths: -Thoughtful shooting, overall effective cinematography -Good job with visual storytelling establishing that she is bored -I like the music choices and cues to help the audience know how to feel -The idea of seeing her behind different colored backgrounds is creative! Room for Improvement: -I do not totally understand the concept...does she taste the skittles and become the rainbow? It is a little unclear why she is frozen at the end. -Audio could be mixed more appropriately. Dialogue sounds abrupt and unnatural.
