  • 4/19 9:42 am - Outside of the selfies this is outstanding. Great thematic shooting, use of drone and variant perspectives. Excellent use of light and composition to tell your visual story of adventure
  • 3/31 3:29 pm - Camera: -A great location choice for a reel, a lot of interesting things to shoot -Drone shots are gorgeous -Some shots are a little shaky, use some type of stabilization whether it be a tripod or shoulder mount -Make sure camera movements are purposeful and that the camera is not just moving aimlessly Lighting: -Natural lighting is effective. A major job of a cinematographer is controlling light, so It would have been nice to see your skill in controlling light. Editing: -The transition between the truck and bird shot is very cool! -Pace is effective and images flow together well. -The use of natural sound is effective
  • 3/12 9:02 am - Love the perspectives and the angles, The drone shots are really nice and had a lot of well thought out framing. Not sure I would put in the selfie shots although the do tell a story.

Positives: I liked that there was one story being told. Great UAV footage. Good camera work.

Improvements: Video was cut off at the end.

Positives: -Some really nice drone work. If you can master drone, there's a lot of money to be made. -Really lovely color grading. It enhanced the tone a lot and added to this story of adventure you were telling.

Improvements: -I think you could've spent a little more time waiting for these shots of wild animals. That's really the trick to stuff like this; time spent in the woods, waiting for the shot to come to you. That's where a lot of the skill to this stuff is scene. You want to show people that you're more than just a camera capturing your surroundings, but you're providing a new perspective and telling a new story. -I'd trim about 30 seconds off this, just because most shots feel really intentional and well composed, but there are some images that aren't as direct and don't add anything to this story. It comes across as filler.

Positives: Beautiful shots. I loved the drone shots. The choice of music brought the video together nicely. The time lapse of the clouds going through the trees was especially nice. NICE VIDEO!!!

Improvements: I wasn't a fan of how the video ended. The music didn't get to fade out completely before it was cut off. Instead of just fading the music out I often edit the music so that it ends the way the musician intended it to end and create a video clip with the ending in mind.
