4/18 10:52 am - While the video itself is creative and VERY well done, it does not fill well for this category.
You were able to showcase a lot of your different editing strengths here. I really enjoy the use of animation on top of the video and your sound editing was spot on. Even though all of the shots were locked down, they were all framed perfectly. Make sure to read the category descriptions when entering so a video like this does not go unnoticed!
3/12 10:56 am - What a fun video! Loved the animation and the way you worked in natural sounds! Vere creative and well executed! However, it is not really a demonstration video.
3/9 10:04 am - This truly a phenomenal video. I love the originality of the idea and the way it was executed. Shots were simple and followed the action. The animation was not overdone and blended in with the video well. It must have taken extensive work to design each element and lay it into the finished product. The sound design is truly remarkable. Each sound edit was perfectly placed and seamlessly mixed into the piece. This is a truly memorable piece of film making.
My one issue is that this is not a demonstration show. I'm not sure why this entry was placed into this category. By definition, a demonstration show should showcase training videos or a demonstration of a process which should provide clear
instruction to the viewer. This is taken right from the category definition provided by MMEA. No process is demonstrated here. Obviously our viewers understand how to make microwave popcorn, but if they did not, this video would provide no help. Had you placed this into the music video category it would have made some serious waves. Unfortunately, it is completely out of place as a demonstration show.
