This is a PSA about child abuse, featuring a young boy who is abused by his father.

Recent Teacher Comments

• 3/13 10:56 am - Good variety of locations; nice steadycam shot with the chase. However, it doesn't look like a real chase at :10 (pacing of the running); needs a bit more shot composition variety to engage the viewer with the teenager (close-ups showing anxiety & fear)
• 3/13 10:55 am - Story is rushed throughout; take a bit more time establishing the environment of fear & abuse in the home, and then take more time with the closing message. Dynamic text elements are effective, but are they original?
• 3/13 10:55 am - Bright lighting and sunny day don't help to support the anxious, fearful environment & mood of the abused teenager. Unclear the symbolism of the water drop at :25--it doesn't connect in to anything else.
• 3/12 9:57 pm - The idea is a good one, but the shot at 23 seconds is not your footage and I'm not sure if the titles at the end are either. Nevertheless, some of the shots are well framed and the running shots are well composed. Overall the piece needed additional elements. You needed some research-backed statistics that reinforce how serious the issue of child abuse is. Voice over also would have helped to reinforce the titles you have in the piece.
