3/21 12:56 pm - Pros - Very nice theme and strong, intriguing locations were the highlight of this piece. The high contrast and deep blacks were very strong in your landscape shots but worked against you in the closeups because it was hard to perceive detail in the majority of the closeups, with the exception of the character in the yellow hoodie. Those were excellent! Although I wanted to see more of the character in the closeup at 0:46, the highlight on the frame of his glasses is wonderful. Cons - Most of the drone work was very strong, although some of the movement in the shot at 0:20 was jittery. Ease up on the vignetting of the shots by the water and watch your white balance in the shots at or near dusk.
3/12 10:56 am - The drone shots were nice. Good use of transitions. I really like the choice of color correction on most shots
3/12 8:11 am - The nature shots are where this reel comes together. Good eye for reflections and light.
3/1 3:48 pm - You have a great sense of composition and control of your depth of field. The CU of the feet on the wooden dock is lovely! The fact that all around it is out of focus it forces our eye to exactly what we want. The shot with the leaves is a great idea, but if you picked a different focal length: leaves bigger in the frame and sun shining through them would be very powerful and dramatic. Keep filming!
