Entry Description
This video was inspired by the roads I take every day to and from school to my home the new adventures ahead of me when I go off to college. The song that goes along with the video and is a song that I listen to quite a bit and holds a lot of meaning to me. I enjoy working with video effects and lighting while filming so I decided to get creative and go into a deeper meaning. I will be going to college after I graduate and leaving home and the video symbolizes that I will also be leaving behind more than just all of that. I'm excited for this new adventure but there is also a part of me that makes me uncomfortable because I am nervous even though this is something I have been waiting for for a long time. Leaving my family and friends is a hard thing to do and I know that things change over time so I know that it isn't me but time that keeps us going forward.

- 3/31 7:03 pm - Camera: -There are some creative shots here, but most of them are shaky. Next time, take a tripod with you so that you can get smooth camera movements. Lighting: -Mostly natural lighting. Have some fun with lighting! Show off your understanding of lighting techniques by using lights or practical lights in an interior space. This is an important part of being a cinematographer. Editing: -I like that you had a concept/idea for your video to give it meaning. -Why are some images not filling up the screen? You may have been shooting on different cameras with different settings--but you can at the very least stretch your image to fit the full screen in post.
