Entry Description

Jaff suffers from agoraphobia, a fear of places and situations that might cause panic or helplessness. Jaff has been locked up in his house for as long as he can remember, making him a complete social outcast and an alien to modern tools. So when people start turning into zombies right outside his front door and the prettiest girl Jaff has ever laid eyes on shows up asking for help, the whole world seems to be crashing down on him.

  • 4/25 1:36 pm - The title is immediately intriguing and entices the viewer to watch the trailer. The concept is interesting, but the execution is a bit confusing. I want to think the kid with agoraphobia is the main character, given the title, but by watching the trailer, it's unclear. It's disappointing his condition is revealed through expository dialogue. Is there a way you could have shown it rather than told the audience? The music choice gives a certain feel to the piece that seems inconsistent with the circumstance.
  • 3/9 1:23 pm - It took me a few times to realize that the opening scene was supposed to be something that the main character was actually watching... Not sure that goes with the rest of the trailer because then all of the sudden there's zombies. I would rethink the opening scene and how we find out Jaff has agoraphobia.
