This is a commercial for Graeter’s Ice Cream in downtown Northbrook. In addition to advertising the physical location itself, we wanted to exemplify the quality of the ice cream (and the brand as a whole) through our slogan “There’s ice cream, and then there’s Graeter’s.”

• 4/25 9:54 pm - Some transitions between scoops work really well. Nice job! The concept of the commercial could have been paired down to thirty seconds, though. Short and to the point is much better than unnecessary information.
• 4/25 9:39 pm - You have nice establishing shot of the competitor but there is no equal or better establishing shot of the place you are promoting! Try to keep dialogue to a minimum if it doesn’t add anything to the story. You did a good job showcasing the different ice cream flavors with quick cuts and you had a good variety of product shots. The song choice was perfect for the subject matter and the pacing of the editing was well cut.
