• 4/25 9:55 pm - Some nice camera work throughout. I think this show needs a short opening with music to get the viewer into the show. The cold opening to the first package felt choppy. Anchors...relax. You both have nice on-air personalities but reading from the teleprompters isn't allowing your personalities to fully shine through. A couple of the packages felt more like promos rather than news segments. Consider saving all credits for the end of the show.
• 4/25 2:24 pm - Anchors sound like they are reading from the teleprompter. Wrestling - Reporter should use other hand to hold microphone so he is not twisting over so much. Good ending. Say hello- Try to show what the admins are talking about instead of just showing waves. Cafeteria? Show the action in the cafeteria. You don’t want the credits at the end of a segment, put them at the end of the show. Unsung heros - Not a student narrating. The show is supposed to be all student produced. • 4/5 7:50 am - The opening is not a package just vo then a sot. The anchors do an awkward setup for interview. I did not get a sense of this being a news show, but more of a promo for Barrington school district. Try to offer more information to the students who are watching this show, let them know about things going on around the building. I would like to seen more stories, about students in the school. The anchors have good chemistry. The audio could be more crisp, at times it sounds a little hollow. On the first package try to keep the camera more stable and not let it move so much. Give more closeup shots and less panning on the shots. Try to let the students tell this story. Also, do not say "I" when doing the story, it puts the reporter into the story and that is not what you want.
