  • 4/15 9:25 pm - Love the stop motion animation concept. Very cool stuff! I'm glad you guys submitted this. It always adds to the competition. The trailer was set up very well. I saw just enough of your protagonist to like them and care about them. Perhaps that's the appeal of paper people! Your conflict is a bit murky. I get that the guy gets locked in the bathroom and tries to escape, but why not show the moment when the conflict introduces itself to the protagonist? Showing the point of attack would have made the trailer much more engaging and the payoff of your rising action shot also would have been a bigger hit. Your music was a bit hot. Tone it down so it's not peaking in your mix.
  • 3/25 11:37 am - Stop motion is tough- good job in tackling such a project. Because of that, the trailer is a bit short and doesn't go into enough of the storyline to make it effective. Music is a perfect choice, and the plot of the movie works. But there's only two quick scenes of what we can expect the rest of the movie and we need more. Develop that more and you may be on to something!
  • 3/4 10:20 am - Good music choice for animation. I am sure you invested a substantial amount of time in the creation of this trailer. I would work on the story. Maybe use a voiceover or the character talking to develop the plot. Sound effects of him throwing the popcorn etc
  • 2/26 1:08 pm - Kudos to you for doing a stop motion animation. The set up for the story is clear; your character gets locked into a theatre and has to escape. But, what makes it compelling? What complications are in place that make the audience want to see the rest of the movie? Watch your audio levels; the music was too hot.
