  • 4/25 3:19 pm - Both announcers audio is nice and clear with good commentary. There's some decent shot variety but make sure that it's pertinent to what's occurring in game action.
  • 4/23 8:00 am - HERO SHOT MORE EFFECTIVE FROM FLOOR CAM UNDER BASKET. UP-CAM WIDENS TO STANDARD CENTER-COURT SHOT AS SOON AS TIME-OUT BUZZER SOUNDS - THEN GO TO INDIVIDUAL HUDDLES. KNOWLEDGEABLE ANNOUNCERS. IMMEDIATELY CUT TO FLOOR CAM AS SOON AS A PLAYER IS GETTING UP FROM A HARD FALL.
  • 3/5 10:03 am - Primary camera was a little shaky on some movements. During timeout, show more of the teams in their huddles instead of the referees.

Positives: Talent did a nice job telling us more about the game rather than just narrating what we were seeing.

Improvements: Cameras did not look very clean/crisp - camera work was a little shaky. Directing was good - the one long shot of the refs seemed a bit out of place - maybe a better choice instead?

Positives: Strong reference by the play-by-play announcer to the way the boys' team responds to 2-3. Good knowledge of a trend. The color announcer, too, has an understanding of the personnel in this game.

Improvements: I'd challenge the play-by-play announcer to cap the play at 11 seconds with some more energy. Building to the end of the play in excitement changes the experience for the viewer. I think the cameras could have found more compelling shots during the timeout. Some of the shots--including the one that starts with the official and ends with the team in white coming back on the floor--seem random.
