An up-beat commercial showing the positive outcomes of making cookies with Nestle Toll House. Music obtained by BenSound.com in which our school as a paid license for us to use.
Positives: Great camera angles & editing - nice flip between the fridge & and the profile view of the kitchen. Very strong visual storytelling!
Improvements: Lighting on a few shots could be a bit brighter - the upshots seemed a bit dark. A VO end tag would have added to the proficiency of the sound design.
Positives: This is well done - there is action happening that's cohesive and interesting to follow. The interaction between the boy and the dog is pleasant and does a good job of depicting a happy afternoon between two 'friends'. Really good variation of creative camera moves and solid edit.
Improvements: The story is a little 'straight' - sometimes it's good to have a little comedic twist or surprise at the end. For example - the dog could have barked at the fridge to remind the boy to get a glass of milk, or maybe the dog had a toy that was a bottle or carton of milk. It also could have worked to keep some of the ambient sound and layer it with the music to add a little realism.
Positives: cute concept--well shot, well storyboarded. you could tell where things were going... i liked some of your perspective shooting...from inside the oven, the boom up from the edge of the counter--nice camera work good acting--which came from good direction good continuity in editing the timeline--maybe could have tightened up a bit, but it all was in time
Improvements: could have used some explanation--either VO or text on screen? Needed a catchphrase--"sometimes it's best to share with friends--Toll House COokies" or something to really bring it home Honestly, that's my biggest feedback--really well done
