Positives: Many of your compositions are well executed. You have a good sense of camera with movement especially with the footage involving the kid on the bicycle. Good range of lighting situations. You showed that you can shoot in natural exterior light as well as controlled interior lighting situations which is important for people to see when they are looking to hire a DP (as evidenced by your shots at 1:15)

Improvements: I think your static compositions could use work. As I said you seem to have a good sense of movement but when you lock the camera down your frames can feel a bit cluttered and also a bit dark (a few examples (:49, :52, 1:11) You have a few too many static shots of just random objects or places that don't really add anything to your reel, they are not particularly interesting or different objects or places and you shoot them pretty flatly. A few examples (:24, :26, :55, 1:24)

Positives: This product highlights mostly documentary-style cinematography, and does a great job is highlighting your strength has a filmmaker. Many of the shots in low light look great and are without digital noise of any sort. Strong use of a gimbal throughout as well, but I would caution that as technology improves these types of shots are less impressive than they were in the past. You should ask yourself what can I do to enhance this shot now that this technique is so much more accessible. Cool match cuts at the end.

Improvements: When shooting with a DSLR make sure your shutter speed is double the frames per second so that you create the Cinematic effect. Anything faster makes your image look jumpy. Many younger filmmakers use the shutter speed to adjust exposure. That is a an amateur mistake. Use an ND filter if needed. There is a clear lack of controlled Lighting in this piece. Only a couple scenes have what looked like to be near lighting setup.

Positives: You had a lot of nice shots that had some nice smooth movements. You also had some well composed shots such as the shot of the ball toss game.

Improvements: The kid with the baseball bat talking to the camera. Make sure you check your focus as the bat behind his head looked in focus and his face looked out of focus. It is easy to lose focus when you are shooting with a shallow depth of field.
