Positives: Fresh characters. Pretty clear story.
Improvements: Some issues with color correction and focus.
Positives: Great editing techniques! You used some interesting visuals but never overused them. The band shots and the party shots stick out as being exceptionally well crafted and composed. Again, editing helps a lot with layering playing a big role, especially at the dance.
Improvements: As an art director I have to say this!!!! Cover anything that has a label. the "drive" on the back of the chair, the north face logo and the giant print on his shirt. Those three things were distracting to me and made it look less professional. Keep your clothes and props logo free unless the story calls for it. Minor sync issues here and there but all in all, very good job, I enjoyed watching this one very much!
Positives: What a cool video. I love your color palette - from the beautiful blues with the faces and xylophone, to the blue undercurrent in all of your color grading. Some terrific moments of unexpected magic - like her floating after she gets in the wheelchair, or when he collapses into the bed and the whole frame rotates.
Improvements: was that maybe a bit heavy on the smoke? Naw.
