A young man obsesses over a woman he doesn't know eventually sparking interest between the two.
Positives: I love the use of dance. Excellent variety in coverage. Nice use of color.
Improvements: You could have used better camera stabilization in the middle of the video. The handheld was probably intentional, but makes it look a little studenty, and less pro.
Positives: Perfect casting for a story about unrequited love. I could feel his pain throughout the whole video. She seemed aloof but not cold and the scene at the very end tied things up quite nicely. He is Sisyphus but he's cool with that for now. Your use of mirror and lights was fantastic. You were exploring with some interesting techniques and most of the time they worked really well. One more thing, editing. When he's in the store and then he's on the railroad tracks... That was rad.
Improvements: Learn to reel it in every once in a while. While the practical effects were great to watch visually they didn't always do much to further the narrative. Granted, the story is pretty loose but sometimes (multicolored light shadows scene) it just seems like you're doing them to show off that you can. There was so much story in this video, you don't need to kill any time. This was a fantastic exercise in on-screen energy and it did a great job at grabbing and keeping my attention. But when it's fast and crazy from start to finish, there's nothing to contrast it with. I think you could benefit from changing the pace up from time to time and allowing the project to breathe a little. Otherwise, this video was really really well done. Great job.
Positives: Love your in-camera creative lighting effects, like the projector and the color changes. Great original track! Some really nicely lit shots.
Improvements: Some of your other shots were quite ordinary in comparison, giving it a somewhat uneven texture.
