• 4/9 8:58 am - Good on ice shots, try to get closer, smooth out the audio in and outs great editing techniques with the fast forward I like the quick edits. because they keep the viewer engaged in your video. I do not like the ending of it, it just falls flat after a great start to the video. You have all these good shots then end with not much. Working on building the story and then ending with a bang. Think of it like a fireworks show, build to the exciting ending.
• 3/3 9:56 am - + Cinematography is great. Well shot and I'm assuming filming on the ice poses its challenges. +Thoughtful editing. - The audio quality could of the girls talking could be improved. It comes in and out abruptly and it sounds like it isn't totally clean. -There are more skaters than who we hear from. I would have liked to have heard more stories about why they like skating.

Judge 1

Positives: -VOs as intro, let the music take it from there. -Well-utilized time ramps. -Good play between images and music. Didn't shoehorn in images at every beat. -Action commensurate with music energy -Intuitive camera moves. Allowed the move with action to be more important than framing.

Improvements: -VO audio is abrupt. Fade in room tone to soften it. -Lighting is flat. Iris down to get drop-off of light in background. -The final shot. If a shot doesn't work, don't use it.

Positives: Got a sense of who the skaters were through the narrative Camera angles of skaters in action

Improvements: Seemed like the same shot was employed for each skater - various additional angles could have been used Various editing transitions could have been employed to give more variety

Judge 3

Positives: Love the different shots, voice over, and slo-mo scenes. Also, you sell the program with varying levels of skills.

Improvements: Maybe a little more info about joining or being part of the organizing, especially what it is like to join the team.
