Neuqua Valley High School's current Principal, Dr. McBride, will be leaving his position to take on the role of superintendent in District 205. This is the story of his time at Neuqua.

Positives: -The use of natural sound throughout the story was great! It didn't distract, and was at the right level. -The video was a great mix. You definitely showed Mr. McBride in different elements and that really helped tell he story of how much character he has and the impact he has on students!

Improvements: -While the natural sound was used throughout, I would've loved to have heard POPS of that sound! When he was dancing at the assemblies I would've loved to have heard some natural music or cheers during those moments. -Voice track could've used some more energy. The story was light and happy and the track could have matched that tone a little bit better. -Would've loved to have heard from students or staff about his impact on them and the school!

Positives: The broll footage of Dr. McBride letting his hair down gave us a sense of why he would be missed by his students. He was obviously willing to poke fun of himself in order to connect with his students. Good choice of roll. Good choice of soundbites of Mr. McBride reflecting on his years as principal. Great that you matched the footage and the bites. He sounds like a cool guy.

Improvements: The opening was a little flat. The natural sound was up-cut. Perhaps it would have been more interesting to open with a couple of quick bites from students or teachers commenting on Dr. McBride. The reporter voice over felt monotoned and rushed as if the reporter was trying to read it an be done.
