  • 4/24 4:35 pm - This is a nice piece, but I think it would have played better as a news segment rather than a comedic narrative. The characters were full of life and you got a sense of what a day in their lives are like managing crossing guard duties. Audio quality was very good and your shots were largely well composed and focused. A lot of shake was present in some of the moving camera shots Consider more static shots to replace the shaky ones or try to use a steadier hand or a stabilizer to help you.
  • 4/12 12:34 pm - Wish I worked with these guys! Some nice wit here and guys that aren't taking their jobs too seriously. I liked the pace of edits within the piece and bouncing between the "characters" and I think the content was captured well. Something like this because it's short and does the job so well would be a cool continuing social-media type series. Liked it!

Positives: Editing: I like your pace here. You’ve selected good sound bites that tell the story clearly. It’s a light piece and you keep things moving nicely. Sound: Levels are good, dialogue is clean, and I like the goofy music track. They all work together well to create a nice, lighthearted tone.

Improvements: I don’t know all the criteria, but my initial reaction was that this might actually belong in the Documentary of Nat. Audio categories. The only thing that really makes this comedic is the responses you get from the dean.

Positives: A couple of the featured lead characters have a personality which could translate well on-screen. Editing is pretty sharp.

Improvements: Concept is okay, but the 'pilot' gives little sense of what the series would entail. How about some action to go along with the talking heads?

Positives: Very well done

Improvements: This is one time when a COPS parody would not have been anachronistic...but it was good either way
