• 4/23 6:55 am - Shot of Ashley-Grace was very quick - give folks enough time to read her lower-third. If this were my story, I would lose the music and use the natural audio in your story to help tell it. Great variety of b-roll from the various events happening on that day.

Judge 1

Positives: -Great energy in track! -The coloring and lighting was awesome throughout!! It was super crisp and enjoyable to watch. -The music fit the theme of the story

Improvements: -I had to dock points for sound, because music should only be used from natural sound. Music can work in news packages sometimes, but rarely and only with extreme purpose. I also would've loved some more nat sound of all the service events! I could see people talking and things happening, but we didn't really hear it in the background. -A tripod is your friend and could've been used more here. -The center-framing, with the interview subject looking directly at the camera CAN work in news packages, but in a super purposeful way.

Positives: Great story. Excellent bites. Impressed with these thoughtful students. Liked the music and the pace of the piece. Liked the lower thirds identifying the students. Cute ending with the little girl.

Improvements: Would have been nice to hear from someone who benefitted from what the students were doing.
