Entry Description

Fishing Fever is a fishing show that shows viewers how to fish. In this show I show the viewers how to fish a drop shot in many situations. In This excerpt I will show my brother catching his personal best bass on a pier in michigan. This is some of my best footage all summer. Music provided by Lisa McDowell Snuggs with permission given by Lisa McDowell Snuggs.

  • 4/23 10:33 am - *Strengths 1. Your pieces contains some memorable shots - colorful shots captured from a creative camera position. 2. Clear audio with useful nat sound. *Areas for improvement: 1. Carefully consider your audience. I am not sure many in your audience would understand your terminology. 2. A step-by-step process could be more clearly outlined. More importantly, the techniques needed to perform this style of fishing could be described in more detail. 3. Your narration also can include relevant and interesting background information related to your topic. The process alone likely will not be enough to keep the audience engaged. Much more information could be communicated through your audio track (narration). 4. Continue to look for creative ways to begin and end your pieces.
  • 3/12 3:56 pm - Great open. Love the fish on the graphic. A variety of shots would help it be more interesting. As a novice fisherwoman I didn't understand what you were talking about.
  • 3/4 6:45 am - The footage looks nice. You present this as though everyone in the audience will know the basics of what you are talking about. That is fine, but if the audience is not familiar with your topic, they will struggle to follow as you use a lot of terminology. Graphics defining the terms might help with this aspect if you are interested in widening your audience. Narrator has nice, clear voice and music fits. Shots are a bit static—could use more variety.
