• 4/25 2:14 pm - Would prefer fewer effects so that we ca concentrate on the shooting here... I'd recommend a greater diversity of shooting. The handheld work has a good style and works with the music.
• 4/23 3:11 pm - The composite shot at the beginning was really cool and sets the bar of anticipation very high. The following shots failed to fulfill those expectations. This video seems to play more like an editing/effects reel than a cinematography reel. You want your reel to show off your strongest lighting, movements, and compositions. The post production effects distracted from your stronger shot, like the one under the Green Line at :53 and :56. When you do add effects, make sure they stay only with your frame and do not bleed over onto the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, like the smoke and a couple of other effects do. Keep filming as much as your can. More experience will only make you better.
