4/25 8:05 pm - Announcers do a capable job of calling the game. Action is followed well but I don't understand why the under the basket camera is used so much during live action. Not really sure what that perspective provides. Otherwise very fluid job all around.
4/25 3:26 pm - Good audio mix, announcers sound good and crowd noise is underneath at a good level. Scorebug graphic looks really, really small. Anyone watching on a mobile device would have a hard time seeing some of that data. Some of that floor camera movement is hard to watch, quick movements are jarring and don't seem real natural. Maybe switch to should mount and smooth out the movements?
4/23 8:02 am - VERY TOUGH TO MOVE HAND-HELD SIDE-TO-SIDE QUICKLY WHEN UNDER BASKET AND KEEPING BALL IN FRAME. POSITIONING THAT FLOOR CAMERA AT ONE OF THE CORNERS HELPS THIS.
OOPS, LOOKS LIKE EVEN TOUGHER BECAUSE IT’S ON A TRIPOD. I ADMIRE WANTING ROCK-STEADY SHOTS, BUT IT TAKES TO MUCH EFFORT AND ANTICIPATION WHEN USING TRIPOD.
(I WISH MY CREW COULD SHOOT ON A TRIPOD THAT CLOSE TO THE BOUNDARIES. OFFICIALS ALWAYS PREVENT THIS, AS A PLAYER COULD EASILY RUN INTO THE CAMERA AND INJURE SELF AND/OR CAMERA OP., AS WELL AS DAMAGE GEAR.)
HOW ABOUT CROWD, BENCH SHOTS
DURING LULLS?
3/5 10:04 am - Good use of under the basket camera (but the iris is a little high on some shots). Good job by the announcers telling the story. Wide shot camera - make your movements a little smoother. A bit jerky at times. Watch the headroom on the under the basket camera - a bit too much at times.
