  • 4/24 12:24 am - *Strengths: 1. The host of this demonstration shows energy and enthusiasm (something lacking from many of the other pieces in this category. 2. Music selections *Areas on which to work: 1. You can avoid jump cuts and provide more variety to your pieces by shooting from multiple angles/perspectives. In addition, you can vary the scale of your shots (long shots, medium shots, close-ups, etc.). 2. The steps in your process identify what needs to be done and the order in which they need to be completed. You can strengthen your demonstration by providing more information regarding the techniques needed to complete various steps in the procedure. 3. Your narration also can include relevant and interesting background information related to your topic. The process alone likely will not be enough to keep the audience engaged. 4. Continue to look for creative ways to begin and end your pieces.
  • 4/2 11:33 am - Music audio level much too high. The host was friendly and fun, good energy. Would have been good to see the ingredients used. Changing the camera angle was needed. Composition weak. I don't think I would want to eat the recipe.
  • 3/4 12:14 pm - The shot of the host is a bit awkward, as it looks like she is sort of looking over her shoulder. At times, the music and other sounds fight the host’s voice. The adding of ingredients is sloppy and unappetizing—almost seems like a joke or mocking of the project. The extra bit of the host gagging on the food at the end was unpleasant.
