Entry Description

Our team rode the "L" back and forth to capture the beauty of one of Chicago's greatest landmarks. Our goal was to portray why the "L" has such a big impact on Chicagoans' lives. We also spent time getting unique shots of the "L", and provided a little history of this special train.

  • 4/25 8:22 pm - This is very well done on a unique subject but copyrighted instrumental "Sit Next To Me" by Foster the People is used.
  • 4/22 3:16 pm - Great historical doc on an interesting subject. Great broll with a variety of shots and perspectives. The various audio levels are really distracting.
  • 4/20 4:02 pm - +Nice attention-getting intro +The graphics are impressive. Interesting, creative, professional. +Nice variety of b-roll +Very informational--good job doing your research! -The VO makes this seem more like a news package than a documentary. Documentaries should mostly be driven by interviews.
  • 3/5 1:53 pm - Positives: Dynamic opening, but don't use a lower third right before the main titles. Nice sequence :50-:59. Copyrighted music is not allowed, even the instrumental version.
