• 3/5 2:49 pm - Positives: Nice cuts and pans to follow the performers, including a smooth ease out that works well. Good job cutting to the wide shot when it wasn't obvious who had the next solo line (the lighting director didn't always help make it obvious). Good variety to keep viewer interest. Areas for improvement: Opening shot bottom space is screaming for a lower third--if you're not using one, frame it tighter.
• 3/3 8:41 pm - Lots of great camera angles. Good job capturing the action in the full shots and as groups came in. Could do a better job capturing the solos in the middle. It was often hard to tell where they were happening since you were in a wide shot.

Judge 1

Positives: You did lots of great shots and you really varied it throughout the piece. I also commend you for getting all over that stage and trying to showcase everyone.

Improvements: Shot at 2:17 - I would've done that shot from the side since you can see right up the ladies dresses I also would've let this video run longer so we saw the very end of the performance

Positives: Audio well done. Basic camera work good.

Improvements: Needed more close-ups. Director's cuts/takes needed to be more in sync with music.

Positives: Good zoom out at :47. Nice variety shots of the boys around :47. It gave the video production movement but the camera operator got sloppy at 1:07. You must make sure a camera is no longer hot before setting up the next shot!! Good wide shot at 1:22.
