Entry Description

I filmed my dog doing daily activities with its owner to capture the heartwarming feeling of having a pet in your lifetime. My goal was to portray that pets can truly make someone's life happier, and hopefully that will lead the audience to want their own bond with an animal like this one. Revealed in the middle of the PSA, the audience discovers that the narrator is the dog instead of the predictable owner.

Positives: Nicely done script and story. Well selected shots and timing.

Improvements: Some cuts were jump cuts. Dog's voice spoken too quickly.

Positives: The twist in the middle is a great way to keep it interesting. Good variety of shots and locations.

Improvements: lighting and color correction were uneven and in many scenes unbalanced.

Improvements: Watch fine focus and maybe distinguish that its the dog "talk" in the beginning.
