  • 4/23 8:02 am - Shot framing of the over the shoulder shots was good. Compositions overall were done well. Good focus and contrasts in the black and white. The dabbing and rolling around on the floor didn't really work. From a narrative standpoint, it would have been better to have built up your characters. I thought you did well in terms of establishing your antagonist. It would have made for a more compelling story if you'd have had the initial Uno loser be the protagonist and then follow his journey/training/hard work to grow as a player. Then he re-matches and beats antagonist. This would have been a more comedic narrative. Keep working, but work on varying your shots and build up your introductions of characters using camera shots and stylization.
  • 4/22 12:50 pm - I think you were headed in the right direction with this at first, I got a little lost with the dabbing bit after the first uno match though. The story strays too much into being a strange story that it didn't get the laugh from me, I'm afraid. There are some good elements of production in play, different shots, etc. Edits appear to be decent as well. I think the idea was a good one, a simple story and game such as Uno, but things just got too weird for me.
