  • 4/25 9:22 pm - Fantastic cutaways. Given the topic, I'd probably choose a thirty second commercial instead of minute long. But, overall, very effective. I'm hungry!
  • 4/25 9:33 am - The product b-roll and shots of the customers in the store worked well and give you reference to the cafe she is speaking about. The framing of the interview is great because you can see the entire store counter behind her giving the viewer a sense of the size of the place. The audio seemed a bit low from the interview and the lav mic could have been clipped a bit higher to achieve greater sound.

Positives: I liked the swipe transitions & music choice. It' added a nice coffee shop vibe to the story. Good close-ups of the food items as they were listed - I liked seeing matching visuals to the VO.

Improvements: Would have been nice to get a customer's review of the bakery / baked goods. The framing of the food shots could have been cleaner - I would have liked to see more of the sign for the "savory" flatbread item.

Positives: The spot is functional and works well as a documentary style approach. The "see-and-say" edit approach works well. Camera work is good, and food all looks appetizing.

Improvements: The spot could use a little more creativity in terms of the script. There was an opportunity to highlight a bit more about making all of the food on location - many bakeries don't do that now, so it would have been a good point of differentiation.

Positives: footage was well exposed and nicely colored. well composed shot for the interview--good angle for her speaking off camera Good variety on the B-roll I like the music bed choice--fits the feel

Improvements: audio capture on the interview was not good. Hard to understand, too much ambient noise made it difficult to comprehend. Graphic at the end--use the company's actual logo instead of making one up? I think I would have tightened up the "storyline"--could have been much shorter and quicker to the point. Fade music at the end don't just cut
