• 4/9 10:31 am - Great job with the outlines, great movement with the graphics. Great concept of telling stories of these students. I wish the shots might have been a little closer so we can identify them even more. The music is perfect for this video, and the whole video is very well executed.

Judge 1

Positives: -I think I can assume the intent of the piece. If I'm right, well done. The simplicity of it, not overdoing it, is the right move. -VO content has the ball. It is not outshined. -SFX complement, not distract.

Improvements: -Variable VO, quality. People notice when things recorded at different levels are normalized in post. Need to lay down a noise bed from the loudest recording.

Positives: Loved the editing technique of using the outline in neon lights to portray the student's hopes and dreams Loved the large variety of students presented and the student voice employed in conveying their messages

Improvements: Some of the sound of student voices was irregular Lighting in one of the opening student scenes was a little washed out

Positives: Nice mix of still images and filters/animations.

Improvements: Maybe use video instead of a static photo. Also, the audio should be more clear and at the correct level.
