  • 3/5 2:47 pm - Positives: Good variety of shots that mostly work with the music and are mostly well-framed; nice ease ins & outs that are smooth give it a professional look. Audio is clean! Areas for improvement: Lead vocal begins @:28 and she's not in the shot until :32. Poor framing at 2:25 -- too much headroom.
  • 3/3 8:24 pm - Good job getting a variety of shots and keeping the pace of the cuts brisk. Nice smooth pans and zooms to add further complexity and interest! Maybe work on planning the best shots to catch the attitude of the singer. It seems the face-on shot would be very powerful to match her strength, but you tend to stick with the shot above her, which usually suggests weakness.

Positives: Nice job - Your video really moved and you used lots of different shots and angles

Improvements: 2:23- too much headspace in this shot the very end - I think I would've done a wide shot of all the performers before it went to black

Positives: Nice camera work. Good audio. Well directed.

Improvements: Too many wide shots. Needed more close-ups of lead singer.

Positives: The beginning shot was nicely sized but a pull-back as they started walking down the stairs (:21) would have given the tv audience a better perspective of the area with with the performers were working. It was a little too tight. Also, it took a little too long to get a tight shot on the lead singer (:38). The tv audience has natural curiosity and wants to see who is singing and feel like they are right there in the front row. Nice side stage shot and good zoom in on the aerial shot (1:23). Regular flips to other camera angles kept the motion going -great! The pan to air, at the end was a flaw (2:26). It looked like control of the camera was lost and it was followed by an awkward flip to another camera. If it was meant to be artistic, it failed.

Improvements: See above.
