  • 4/15 9:40 pm - Your one-shot concept had an art-movie feel, but it was difficult to connect with it. Audience members need to clearly see and connect with the protagonists. I only briefly say the face of your protagonist, and it wasn't enough. The voice over was interesting, but it wasn't enough to carry your story. It could have been if your trailer had multiple shots, but it doesn't work here. Perhaps it might have been better if it was a first-person narration. Work on audio mixing. Your music competed way too much with your voice over audio. It needed to be way lower once the voice over kicked in.The footage was a bit dark in places. Your location needed additional lighting to pull off the shot. Keep your focus sharp throughout the shot.
  • 3/25 11:28 am - The slow motion shot looked good at times, but to use it as the only shot in the whole trailer is risky- and it doesn't work here. You're letting the voice over do all the work, and it's not a strong enough narration to get an audience hooked or interested in the movie. Lighting was an issue- started off very dark. Audio wise- the music was a bit hot for the voice over.
  • 3/4 10:29 am - I like the shot of the girl looking over her shoulder back at the camera. The music is too loud and overtakes the voiceover. The voiceover person has a quality and professional sounding voice. If you are going to use one shot make it more interesting. Needs a better plot and character development.
  • 2/26 1:18 pm - Camera moves were a bit shaky, focus was off at times. The majority of the trailer is one continuous shot of the girl walking through the train station. In what way does that even remotely entice the audience to get into the movie? Story and character development are not strong. Lighting wasn't evident; looked like you just used available lighting on location. Biggest technical problem is your audio. Levels were too hot all across the board. Make sure you're watching the VU meter when you're recording AND editing. Dialogue levels should be between -6 and -12 db, sound effects between -12 and -18 db, and music beds should be around -24 db.
