  • 4/25 9:26 pm - This has some comedic potential, but the production value was too uneven to follow consistently. The host was excellent in his satirizing of Vice style news documentaries. But the over reliance on text cards had me lost. The cards were not on screen long enough to be read and there was too much text on screen. The audio was all over the place. The dialogue was either too loud or too soft. The music was overblown throughout. Remember this is a visual medium. You have to have visuals that are of high production value to carry your story through. This didn't have it. Keep working and studying. Master the b basic skills. The good news is that the performance an writing shows some real promise. That's the hard part. Now go learn to do the rest well!

The audio is very rough, can't really read the text as it appears very quickly- but maybe that's part of the laugh? If this is a parody the original needs to be more recognizable for me... it just didn't work that well, but I may be interpreting the entire thing wrongly.
