Entry Description

This is a light-hearted commercial on the Par-King Mini Golf course in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Our team really enjoyed filming and hope that we convey the community aspect of this beautiful course.

The color and song choice are upbeat and fit the tone of a fun activity that anyone can enjoy. Appropriate use(not overuse) of a drone. Very nicely done!

Positives: Great shots & variety of angles & close-ups High energy & looks like the mini golf location would be fun - good messaging!

Improvements: The VO was a bit hurried - the trick with VO is reading slower than you speak because the viewer will need time to process what they are hearing. Motion graphics would have been a nice element to add to accentuate the stats - rated in top 10 mini golf courses in America by _______ as the VO says that it could appear in the corner of the screen as well

Judge 2

Positives: This spot works well. Script describes many benefits, and the picture carries through with them. The shot with the 3 girls watching the ball was the most interesting. Those creative ideas add a lot of value to a spot. Nice audio mix that features AVO, music bed and ambient sound.

Improvements: The script is a little 'straight' - more of a story, or a humorous twist could be helpful in making the spot stand out.

Judge 3

Positives: good script writing! i love that you added a tag line to the end to tie it all together! great drone shots--it really needed them and they looked good! all camera shots were well composed--with good acting (and good direction obviously) great end screen for the piece--might have added a VO saying "Par King...Lincolnshire" or something to wrap it up.

Improvements: DARN! the audio quality on the VO was not great, which is a shame because of quality script and even delivery!
