  • 4/25 8:02 pm - Great job all around from announcers to technical side. Announcers did a great job of telling the story in an appropriate way without getting over the top in their excitement. Sideline reporter added some relevant info from what he heard in the time out. Instant replay was purposeful and placed in a proper spot. Well done!
  • 4/25 10:33 am - Announcers do a good job with this call, court side reporter is a nice touch and adds some creativity and style to the coverage. Graphics are on point and look pro.
  • 4/23 7:57 am - WHY IS ANNOUNCER DEPARTING FROM P-B-P EXTENSIVELY DURING LIVE ACTION? THAT'S THE COLOR ANALYST'S JOB. HUDDLE SHOT A BIT TOO TIGHT, NO NEED TO CUT-OFF HEADS. IT’S A BIG GYM. SIDELINE REPORTER NEEDS DARK JACKET OR DARK SHIRT OR DARK SWEATER TO OPEN THE IRIS MORE. AGAIN, WHY IS A HEAD BEING CUT-OFF? ON-AIR TALENT ARE THE STARS, THEIR APPEARANCES SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH. 1:44 - TILT LOWER. PLAYERS’ LEGS AND FEET AND THE COURT ITSELF ARE MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN THE UPPER WALLS & BLEACHERS. GREAT CHEER CUTAWAY. CAN THE UP-CAM BE SET-UP DEAD-CENTER? COLOR ANALYST HAS GOOD KNOWLEDGE. NOT MUCH URGENCY/EXCITEMENT FROM P-B-P ANNOUNCER.
  • 3/5 10:02 am - Nice job by the announcers telling the story. Good camera work.

Positives: Directing - nice shot selection and use of sideline reporter. Talent - Sideline reporter was excellent, smooth, confident, gave the viewer interesting insight.

Improvements: Cameras seemed to be of a lower resolution quality

Positives: Well done to get the cameras deep into the huddles--good job getting detail out of the huddle shots. Tremendous report listening in on the huddle, too. Great idea to listen in. Tremendous job by the announcers to tell a story about the coach's different paces he wants to play. Good job overall by the announcers to not narrate each pass and instead tell us a story about the game.

Improvements: The game camera motion was a little distracting, to me. The sideline reporter probably could have fit his report into a smaller window. One of the toughest things to do is to finish a report concisely. Work on that and it'll make an already good report great.
