  • 4/25 8:04 pm - Very appropriate coverage of the game. Announcers did a really nice job of explaining the action in an appropriate way. I saw everything I needed to see and you didn't overuse the under the basket cameras. The top camera did a great job of following the action and letting the viewer see what they needed to.
  • 4/23 7:59 am - ONE PLAYER BRIEFLY ON HER KNEES = “BODIES ON THE FLOOR?” TIGHTEN HERO SHOTS A BIT. NORMALLY TAKE UP-CAM BEFORE FTs ARE RELEASED IN CASE OF LANE VIOLATIONS, FOR CLEAR VIEW OF REBOUNDING, ETC. HERO SHOT OF FT SHOOTER USUALLY NOT DONE UNLESS LATE IN A CLOSE GAME.
  • 3/5 10:03 am - Good coverage of game. Good hero shots - sometimes a tad bit too long on them.

Positives: I thought the announcers tactfully disagreed with the call by the officials. No ranting or raving, just a respectful disagreement. I also thought the announcers had a good understanding of what the substitution meant to the team late in the segment.

Improvements: Your play-by-play announcer has an understanding of the game, using terms like "flared." It's worth it to know that he can take his attention off of each pass and talk a little more about big-picture themes (as he did at 1:50). There's a little too much pass, pass, pass rather than telling us about the players, themes or even laying out (pausing). Why the cut to the player at 1:39? Was that meant to tell a story? If so, that wasn't conveyed.
