  • 4/23 7:57 am - If you're going to do a parody, really study it. I think you did well in terms of parodying the story, but pay closer attention to the production value. How are the shots framed, what are the backgrounds, etc. Some of your shots were too quick and I couldn't see Grace in the first shot. It cuts away too quick. Lighting was well done for your interviews, but the manner in which they were conducted was not correct. These interviews should be documentary style, meaning the actors should be looking off camera at the interviewer. Make sure you don't place your actors in a swivel chair. The nervous movement is distracting. Consider some dramatic music in places to up the tension and the stakes. That would add to the humor and the parody quality.
  • 4/22 12:54 pm - Cool idea, production elements were good, lighting etc. I think though to really pull off a good parody the copy has to look more like the original (the look of the intro graphic was a good start). If there were just a few more things that really fit what's contained in the real TV show, the "sell" of this parody would have really worked.
