It was a risk to be as tight as you were on your shots, without really a huge amount of shots and he delivered and made it work. Props to you for seeing the gem in his face, and coaching him where he needed to be coached.
The Black and White was a nice touch, just to give me the feeling of things being a little bit off.
The story was a bit simplistic, he went from being a sweet gentle looking man to a monster in one scene (when he was watching the film) it wasn’t a slow evolution it was more like something just happened and as a viewer I was left to wonder what. When you think of a three-act structure, it really wasn’t present, it seemed more like a bunch of well-crafted scenes strung together.
Keep at it, you have an eye for what you want, and you know how to coach your talent to deliver the performance you want, just weave it all into a more of a story and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Areas for improvement:
The story is a bit thin, as it focuses on depicting psychological struggles through his actions; the story is missing an opening where we engage and connect to the main character in a sympathetic way, in order to be affected by the demise of his mental state.
3/9 7:36 pm - not entirely sure on the narrative; audio/camera/lighting done well
