  • 4/23 9:11 pm - Your shot variety and composition was executed well! It really flowed well with the song. The way he sings while he’s tied up, like he’s singing his story. The camera movement is calculated for each shot and works for the different parts of the story that you are trying to show. Nice job. I liked this a lot.
  • 3/6 7:38 am - I really enjoyed this! Great song. I can sense the paranoia and I liked the setting as well. It fits in well. I like how you transitioned between outdoors and running on the street to indoors and being under the light. Great job and beautiful voice!

Positives: :34 Beautiful lighting. Terrific use of VFX.

Improvements: The editing rhythm can be more consistent. The color grading can also be more consistent. For example, :16 is warm yet when we cut to the exterior the color is much cooler. It's bit jarring.

Positives: Very nice compositing. Very well edited.

Improvements: Lighting could have been more varied or controlled. The story was a little unclear.

Positives: Well... of all the videos I have seen so far, this is the first one I had to watch twice to try and understand better. I LOVED IT. The switching timelines, the angel(?) character watching the whole thing on the screen, the use of different kinds of camera footage. There was so much going on... but the story was cohesive and made sense. Or at least, it made as much sense as you let us make of it. Also, I am a production designer and the production design on this project was fantastic. Visual after visual. Kept my attention throughout.

Improvements: I don't have much to say here. The cameraman needs to pay more attention to when we can see him in Storefront windows but that's forgivable. Propwise, you could have found better binoculars. And who was coming in the door once he hit the ground?! All minor complaints. All in all, great job.
