Positives: There were many successful elements in this project. The camera work was excellent. You took care to make sure each shot was framed properly. The editing was well executed. You were able to establish a high level of enthusiasm and connect with the audience. The graphics made the show feel complete and professional. Overall, excellent work!
Improvements: There was a closeup of sandwiches just after they were cut. The chef was very proud of the way he made the sandwich and asked for a tight shot. Make sure when you do something like that to stabilize the subject. It was hard to see the details the chef wanted the audience to see.
Positives: I really enjoyed this concept of a show. I thought it was fun to watch and it truly held my attention. Not only do I learn how to make a specific dish, I learn about a new local restaurant. The panel worked well with the host and guest cook. Also, the behind the scenes footage throughout the piece adds a twist that makes this piece unique.
Improvements: The show could have benefited from more a advanced graphics treatment and the "Up Next" graphic could have been more aligned. For the most part, the sound was great except, at points, the sound of the panel eating was distracting. Also, the cuts between different shots lagged at points. For example, a quicker cut to the "money shot" or finished product at the end would have made this piece stronger.
