Judge 1

Positives: The performance is compelling. The production design works well.

Improvements: There are moments that can be brighter. Some of the synchronization can be tighter.

Positives: Excellent variety in shots, held my interest throughout. Good performances.

Improvements: Soft focus on several shots. Shooting at night is tough, maybe could have used more shoots at dusk or dawn to get more backgrounds.

Judge 3

Positives: I liked the dark themes and imagery. It wasn't hard to tell who the voodoo doll was for and that relationship was worked effectively, especially with the lipstick on the cheek visual. Very cool. The colors in the video worked well with the vibe and the imagery was varied enough to keep my interest. Overall, I was entertained throughout the whole thing. Not an easy task.

Improvements: I hate to nitpick... but if you're trying to convince me that you're in an ethereal graveyard world, please do NOT show me a strip mall in the background. And the running away in the woods looked staged. And there should have been way more blood on his jacket. OK. I nitpicked. I'm sorry. But that's only because the rest of it was so good. Real potential here.
