I think that this should have answered this question rather than pose it. You piece could use more structure in writing and targeting what you want the community to know about this event. If you are an underclassman, keep making pieces. If you are a senior, I wish you the best in your future and congratulations!
  • 3/16 8:26 pm - Your opening shot whas a little confusing, I didn’t know what I was looking at. The B-Roll never really seemed to fit with what was being talked about, and the B-Roll also really seemed very 1 dimensional because it didn’t change (location, zoom. duration). All I know about his play is it is different and there are swords. I brief synopsis of what it is and about would have helped and should have been a part of this story early on. Unless I missed it, nowhere in the story did you mention even the name of the play. As a viewer I just always felt left out of this story, I didn’t always know what we were talking about, and the B-roll made me feel like I was on the outside looking in. Remember that the viewer is not as invested in the material as you are, it is your job to bring me up to speed and make me care. I think you were starting to do that, but the problem is you just jumped right in and left some of that key introductory stuff out.
