  • 4/22 11:03 pm - Pros - Strong work overall. Lots of variety in composition and environment. Your best shots are your interview shots where the lighting is controlled. Movement is very smooth as well. Cons - Exposure is inconsistent, causing some shots to fall flat or be underexposed. The travel footage, with the exception of the fountain, is not very dynamic and takes away from the strength of the rest of the shots.
  • 4/14 3:41 pm - +Nice shot variety and variety of content +Some good editing transitions +High quality images, especially when you are using lighting instruments -Some of the shots outside in the forest/duck shot are kind of dark

Positives: Had a lot of clear, well shot footage of more action based events. Footage showed that you can definitely handle working with more documentary/on the fly work. Everything is pretty well exposed and well framed.

Improvements: You need much more variety to your subjects and shots. You aren't demonstrating enough that you are able to set up sophisticated camera setups, lighting, and blocking. I'd like to see a lot more work with lighting setups and human subjects and less with just scenery. You need to punch up your footage a bit more in the color grading/post production. Your shots are very flat. They need more contrast/saturation and in some cases some color correction

Positives: I really really enjoyed the transition between the lake and the cactus, well done. Most of your stuff looks super professional, nice work, keep at it.

Improvements: Lighting, lighting, lighting. Remember how important lighting is, take your time in lighting your subject and shot correctly. I’ve never shot anything live sports relatMost of your stuff looks super professional, nice work, keep at it.ed, but there were some things that I wish you would’ve captured. Mainly that jumper, where the referee blocked the shot. I’m guessing when filming sports you always have to be ready to adapt to what’s happening in front of you. Anyone can capture wide landscape shots. Having those in your reel takes away from all the other beautiful shots in it. Keep making films, keep making movies, always have your camera with you, do you have a good day, keep at it
