Positives: Your project brings back some fond memories. You chose a great topic. Even though this type of editing is obsolete people should know about it. You covered just enough detail to give an idea of how linear editing works. You added some appropriate humorous moments as well. The narration works well. You did a good job of paying attention to the narration track and getting shots that support the spoken words. The lighting style you chose fits the project as well. The shots in the edit bay have a film noire look. You took care to keep deep shadows and include some highlights so each shot has nice contrast.

Improvements: Match the look of the shot at 2:11 to the rest of the editing room shots. Try to hit the side of the actor's face with a more intense splash of light so there is more contrast as you did in the earlier edit bay shots.

Positives: Overall, this was a really strong piece. The topic was unique and very informative. The voice-over was knowledgeable and had a positive energy. The look and style of the different shots supported the topic of this piece and the piece as a whole was done in a strong creative format.

Improvements: At certain parts of the video, some of the shots seemed too dark where they became somewhat grainy. Also, graphics throughout the piece could have potentially supported this demonstration.
