  • 4/23 11:26 am - The teaser intro was great. I really liked how the camera dollies in while giving a preview of what the episode will be about. The set also looks great! The two end anchors do a great job interacting with each other and there are great transitions into the video packages. My opinion is the center “host” needs to join in on the discussions or ask the new question topics otherwise it seems awkward that she is in the shots at all. Overall, a great sports program!
  • 3/17 10:33 am - Good teaser opening and graphics/music. Good use of b-roll. Love the idea of this show. Be careful- some of the talk sounds very rehearsed, and although it is supposed to be be a live talk amoungst the hosts, it appears edited from camera shot to camera shot. Part of that is hearing "audio jump cuts" as the mics are not set at the same level, you can hear those differences. As cool as the opening was, the closing left much to be desired. Just a quick "good bye" and the show ended. The show looked really good. Work on conversational tone and make sure your middle host is the one leading the show and how it changes.
  • 2/26 10:07 am - Very professional and well done. All female broadcast team covering female sports is a great concept and approach. Good shots, graphics, interviews, b-roll. Good job connecting all the aspects together. Awesome job, definitely one of the best this year.

Positives: This show worked. Great concept, and great execution. Love the female sports theme and the hosts who clearly know and are passionate about what they're talking about. Love the interstitial graphics! The feature piece on Megan was outstanding. From lighting to audio, everything about it was well done. The edit was tight but still allowed the story to come through. Great job.

Improvements: I can only think of one thing, and it's nit-picky. Watch the framing on your secondary cameras. Often times it caught part of the face of the centered host, but not all - ideally we'd either see her or we wouldn't, but don't cut half her face off.

Positives: - I love the idea about this show! Focusing on women's high school teams was a great hook and the energy the on air talent gave just reeled in the viewer even more. About time the ladies get the spotlight! - Great production value - loved the set and how vibrant it looked. Really liked the tracking interview shots on the special segment on Megan. Very well lit interviews in segments and looked sharp.

Improvements: - I felt like the middle talent felt like monkey in the middle. the girls on the outside of her commandeered the conversation, and I am fine with that, but the camera kept hopping between those two girls only. Maybe throw in more three shots to show all of the girls at the desk. - This is super nitpicky, but I would tweak the lighting in the studio set up to get rid of the shadows on the talent's faces. Or maybe just add in more lights. I know you're limited to the space of the room, and I thought it all looked incredible, but that is something that can take it up even another level!

Positives: Really impressed with the overall look. From the set with the hosts to the graphics and the way the highlights and interviews were shot and edited. Looked very professional. Love the focus on local sports at the high school and the way the three hosts interacted.

Improvements: I really don't have anything that could be improved here. Great job.
