  • 4/19 11:55 am - Successful - This is a very funny and creative premise. It's so silly that it just works. Great reveals and visual/physical humor. The main actor does a good job of playing it straight until the end. Smart composition and framing throughout the film. Music choice was good. Needs Work - This felt too long, and the ending was a little disappointing. It might have been funnier to have it never explained, or to make the hands a character themselves. I don't mind the ridiculous concept, but something about the internal logic of the film doesn't quite work if it was a VR headset the whole time. Lastly, the skateboard scene was confusing in that it seemed like he arrived back at the same house, and that the hands were suddenly not there while skateboarding. It could probably be cut altogether.

I don't know how a virtual reality headset would make real hands appear in the real world. A bit of a plot hole that needs to be fixed in the storytelling. Continue to develop the story because there is a good structure here.
