Judge 1

Positives: The look of your project is great. The pacing keeps up the level interest and is upbeat. You took care with lighting and the physical layout of the various ingredients. You chose a good font for your text. It fist the look and feel of your project. Consider adding a white drop shadow to make the text stand out more.

Improvements: Here are a few things that would help to make this project even better. Allow for some 'breathing room" for your layouts and graphics. The important elements, such as text, should be in title safe, which traditionally excludes the outermost 20% of the video screen. (In a web only or non broadcast project it's ok to use up to 90%.) Make sure you clean your oven or don't show the interior. Look at 1:40 of your project. It's important to keep things pristine in a cooking show.

Judge 2

Positives: The process was well conveyed and concise. The speed of the music went well with the flow of the piece. The animation to the graphics was creative.

Improvements: Graphics were dark on a dark background which made them difficult to read throughout the piece. The overall piece was very dark and could have been lit better to see the process. The auto-focus was going in and out on many of the shots making certain shots blurry. A wider variety of camera angles could have been used to capture the process.
